My research interests
include spectral graph theory and algorithms, fast and
scalable solvers for large-scale sparse linear systems
and optimization, adaptive and parallel numerical
methods for partial differential equations, and their
applications (e.g. poromechanics, hydrogeology,
reservoir simulation, magnetohydrodynamics,
bioinformatics, network analysis, and statistical
ranking). This semester (Spring 2020), I am teaching
MATH226: Numerical Linear Algebra.
